Prenatal & Postpartum Bootcamp (6-Week Series)
Learn how to safely strengthen your body during pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. This whole-body bootcamp-style program will focus on optimizing the muscles of the inner core (diaphragm, transverse abdominals and pelvic floor) and mastering muscle activation in basic movement patterns such as squats, lunges, bending, twisting, pulling and pushing. These types of movements are executed every single day, whether picking up a child, getting out of bed, opening a car door, or mopping the floor.
Understand how to optimally use your core through conscious breathing techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life. This will strengthen the foundational muscles that provide posture, stability, balance, and deep holistic strength. Say goodbye to chronic conditions such as lower back pain, sacro-iliac joint dysfunction, urinary/bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, and sciatica. This is also a great class for those who would like to prevent or work to correct diastasis recti and/or stress urinary incontinence.
We will begin our class with breath and core activation. After your core is activated and engaged, we will move on to more detailed strength circuits utilizing hand weights, bands and barre balls that will target your glutes, core, shoulder girdle and chest. We will top off class with a gentle cardio circuit to build endurance and end with a restorative, grounding meditation.
Be prepared to breathe, work, sweat and leave feeling energized, strong, and relaxed! Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable workout clothing. Grippy socks are optional as barefoot is preferred. Non-mobile babies welcomed!

CPR for Families
CPR, or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, is a helpful skill for families as emergency situations occur unexpectedly. In this class, you will be taught how to recognize a respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest, how to initiate an emergency response, and how to provide life-saving measures to adults, children, and infants. Choking emergencies and maneuvers are also discussed. Gain the knowledge and skills to act quickly and effectively in high-stress, emergency situations.
I am a NJ MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) Paramedic and National Registry Paramedic, responding to 911 emergencies in NYC and NJ since 2004. I am also a home-birth midwifery student and doula, with current certifications in CPR for adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
